Outside of Ulaanbaatar city, ger camps will be the mainstay of tourist accommodation in Mongolia. Ger camps are the countryside hotels with gers instead of hotel rooms and the most common accommodation providers throughout the Mongolian countryside.

Ger (Yurt) camp is a comfortable tourist camp, which has a Mongolian national style, consists of 2-4 bedded 30-40 gers and provides a very comfortable stopover for tourists. Tourist ger camps are usually situated right in the midst of the beauty of nature, from the steppes to the Gobi Desert, and suitable for those who want to experience nature at its best with modern amenities. Ger camp can accommodate up to 100 guests at the same time in the comfortable and relaxing traditional nomadic gers. Ger camps have toilets and showers on the territory, offer tour services, including horse or camel riding, archery, sometimes a local folklore concert. Camp also includes a restaurant complex (very special Mongolian style decorated a large ger restaurant) where tourists can taste traditional Mongolian meals, European and Asian dishes.  The restaurant also has meals for vegetarians. Well trained and supportive staff: manager, cook, waitress and horsemen.

Each standard ger is equipped with beds, a table, chairs and a stove. Based on twin occupancy, the gers provide an authentic and memorable taste of Mongolian nomadic culture. Accommodation can also be arranged as a single. Luxury (upgraded) gers have individual bathrooms featuring showers, toilets, smart floor heating system, air conditioning and other modern amenities.

Most of Voyage Mongolia tours include overnight stays in ger camps. For many visitors, staying in a ger camp in Mongolia is an opportunity to experience an authentic nomadic culture, lifestyle and will be a highlight of a trip to Mongolia.
